Brunton My-TI Folding Spork Review
i have other sporks in different materials, such as heat-safe colored plastic and stainless steel... i also have a no-name folding titanium spork that i've used over the past year nearly every day for making coffee or eating lunch on the trail... note that this spork is not entirely constructed of titanium (four stars for no truth-in-advertising), while others are nearly always mono-material...
that said, this is a good spork with the nice feature of having a polished eating surface... i find this to be the distinguishing feature for this item, as nearly all titanium sporks seem to be constructed in the same way (possibly from the same Asian manufacturer)
and this spork is definitely better than the cheap plastic folding spork included in the GSI Ultralight Soloist cookset, which is where i take advantage of this folding utensil's compacting feature... The Brunton My-Ti Folding Spork is the only eating utensil you need in the backcountry. This sporkboth spoon and forkis made of rugged, lightweight titanium and folds in half. Brunton's well-designed eating tool weighs less than an ounce and, because it folds, takes up almost no space in your backpack. Titanium doesn't rust or melt, and it won't make your food taste metallic.

Great for ultra-light camping - L. Lambert - TX USA
It weighs only .6 oz., folds tiny, and is nearly indestructible titanium. Perfect for camping. What else do you need to know?
it lives up to the Editor's Choice - Sean Phillip Kinney - Los Angeles
I bought this one, and it lives up to the Editor's Choice.
It is super light, no metallic taste. You might be able to find it cheaper than it is here.
Only thing that you need to be aware of, it is will not pass through an airport security screening. Check it through in your bag that goes under the plane and it is fine, but if you are traveling to a place to go hiking, you can't carry it with you (it seem logical, but remember it folds up really small & you might over look it in your packing).
It is the best hiking spork I have used.
